Keith’s practice involves the representation of clients in a variety of legal matters including negotiating a wide range of business relationships and transactions, mergers, and acquisitions, as well as general corporate needs. Keith represents a number of credit unions and other financial concerns. Many of Keith’s other clients are leading edge telecommunications and Internet businesses, heavily engaged in ILEC, CLEC and broadband development, fiber optic transport and the provision of other telecommunications services. Through his representation of telecommunications providers, Keith has had the opportunity to negotiate business arrangements with many of the leading participants in the industry and engage in the development of myriad innovative relationships and projects.
Keith enjoys close working relationships with his clients. His approach to the practice of law is to creatively seek practical, positive solutions to the client’s needs. Keith’s style in constructing business transactions is to develop a “win-win” structure that is fair and reasonable, yet protective of the clients needs.
Keith is a 1983 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, with honors. Keith received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in 1980, magna cum laude. Keith also completed Baylor’s Honor Program, with distinction. Keith was born in Crestview, Florida and raised in the Houston area.
Keith joined the firm in Austin following his graduation from law school, practicing in the Austin office. Keith resides in Austin near Lake Travis with his wife and six children. They are members of Hill Country Bible Church. Keith is active in several local church, school and charitable activities and currently on the Executive Committee of, and legal counsel to, the Greater Austin Crime Commission.
