Overview
The firm’s guardianship section assists clients in obtaining temporary and permanent guardianships of the person and estate for incapacitated persons. We also assist clients with performing their duties and responsibilities once appointed guardians, including filing inventories, annual reports, and annual accounts. We have attorneys with experience in contested guardianships and seasoned litigators who are well-versed in guardianship hearings and trials.
There are various reasons for amending and terminating guardianships. We routinely help our clients with resignations, successor guardianship filings, final reports and accounts, and proceedings relating to removing incapacity.
Guardianship can be an emotional process, and our goal is to help our clients navigate the necessary judicial steps with as much ease as possible.
