John Hawkins is Board Certified in Labor and Employment by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. John Hawkins defends employers against claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations in federal and state court. He also represents employers in matters pending with the EEOC, the Texas Commission on Human Rights and the Labor Department. He advises employers about employee terminations, personnel policies, drug testing, discrimination claims and other employment matters. He has prepared numerous personnel policies and drug testing policies.
John has represented clients in matters in several states and before various state and federal courts, including the Arkansas Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
John has worked with a large number of insurance companies who provide employment practices liability insurance for employers.
