Profile
As a briefing attorney, Megan writes a wide variety of pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Her practice spans various areas of practice, including contract disputes, business law, and commercial litigation. Her two main areas of specialty lie in dealing with expert witnesses and in appellate law.
Before joining Naman Howell in 2024, Megan worked as a Central Staff Research Attorney for the Louisiana Court of Appeal, First Circuit. She also previously worked for the Louisiana State Law Institute.
She holds a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she also served as Production Editor for Volume 77 of the Louisiana Law Review and earned CALI awards in five classes. She also holds an M.A. in Cultural Apologetics from the School of Christian Thought of Houston Christian University and earned a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Classical Civilization from Louisiana State University, summa cum laude and as a University Medalist (4.0 GPA) and with full College Honors.

Beyond the Law
In her spare time, Megan writes and speaks as a Christian literary scholar and poet. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of Shadowlands Dispatch, a magazine of cultural apologetics, and as Senior Fellow on the Leadership Council for the Society for Women of Letters, an organization for women pursuing the intellectual life for the glory of God. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including Christ and Pop Culture, Fare Forward, Dappled Things, VoegelinView, The Worldview Bulletin Newsletter, and Mere Orthodoxy. Her research interests include the function of memory in spiritual development, the power of language and narrative, the work of the Inklings, and developing a robust theology of suffering.
